Sharing and saying whatever is on your mind can be enormously freeing. Being heard and being seen by a counsellor, without judgment or baggage getting in the way with someone impartial, knowing this time and space is for you can in itself be a rewarding and beneficial process.
With one to one therapy, we would meet weekly for 50 minutes.
Couples and partnerships, be they intimate or business led may need support from time to time, it may not mean separation or crisis. Reasons for seeking support may be about reconnecting, improving communication, working through some life-bumps or change that has impacted on the relationship. In this work, my role as counsellor is primarily about supporting both parties as a facilitator and mediator, which can include supporting during a separation, should that be the eventual outcome. We would meet for 1 hour 20 minutes every two weeks and there may be exercises in between sessions.
